Project Manager

The Opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead / Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience in a banking technology environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in core banking solutions, strong stakeholder management skills, and hands-on knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

The Role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage banking technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee project planning, including work breakdown structure (WBS), resource allocation, and cost management.
• Manage stakeholders effectively, address risks and issues proactively, and propose alternative solutions to ensure project success.
• Centralize project information, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel (for data mining), and PowerPoint to track progress, analyze data, and present insights.
• Ensure expense management, including run-rate tracking, costing, and resourcing, to maintain financial discipline in project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address functional areas (e.g., payments, loans) or technical challenges (e.g., architecture design, Java coding).

The Expertise.

Requirements:

• Experience: 7-10 years of exxperience in project lead/project manager roles within a banking technology environment.
• Domain Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with core banking experience (e.g., Temenos T24 or similar in-house/vendor packages

  ).

Skills:

• Advanced stakeholder management, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills.
• Hands-on experience with WBS, Excel data mining, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling options using PowerPoint.
• Certifications (Preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM).
• Additional Knowledge (Advantageous):
• Functional expertise in areas like payments and loans.
• Technical skills such as architecture design or Java coding.
