Job Purpose:

To lead and manage rural development projects aimed at improving livelihoods, social infrastructure, governance and community participation. The role involves planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of field-level activities in collaboration with stakeholders, including government departments, NGOs, CBOs and funding agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Rural Management, Social Work, Development Studies or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in rural development or social sector projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial role handling projects in tribal areas.
• Experience in government-funded or donor-funded projects (e.g., NRLM, NREGA, CSR, NABARD, World Bank, etc.) is also preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Good knowledge of participatory rural appraisal (PRA), community institution building and livelihoods promotion
• Proficient in MS Office, MIS reporting, and field data management tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Gujarati language.

Remuneration:

No salary bar for the right candidate – compensation will be based on experience, qualifications and value addition to the organization.
