Job Title: Project Manager–Rural Management & Development Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Reports to: Managing Director/Project Head Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite) Sector: Social Development / Rural Management/ Site Management Job Purpose: To lead and manage rural development projects aimed at improving livelihoods, social infrastructure, governance and community participation. The role involves planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of field-level activities in collaboration with stakeholders, including government departments, NGOs, CBOs and funding agencies. Experience in government-funded or donor-funded projects (e.g., NRLM, NREGA, CSR, NABARD, World Bank, etc.) is also preferred Key Skills & Competencies: Strong project management and leadership skills Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities Good knowledge of participatory rural appraisal (PRA), community institution building and livelihoods promotion Proficient in MS Office, MIS reporting, and field data management tools Strong verbal and written communication skills in Gujarati language. This position involves a mix of field survey operations and office-based data processing, ensuring high-quality deliverables for land acquisition, infrastructure planning, and environmental management projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct DGPS/GNSS surveys using base and rover units for land acquisition, boundary demarcation, and topographical mapping. Set up and operate base stations on control points to ensure signal stability and accurate real-time correction. Execute drone-based LiDAR data acquisition missions in diverse terrain using professional drones (e.g., DJI Matrice 300 RTK, Zenmuse L1). Process and correct LiDAR point clouds in Spatix using the TerraSolid suite (TerraScan, TerraMatch, TerraModeler). Generate and validate Digital Terrain Models (DTM) and Digital Surface Models (DSM) by filtering non-ground features and correcting data overlaps or calibration issues. Perform RTK and PPK post-processing to ensure centimeter or millimeter accuracy. Create final deliverables such as orthophotos, high-density contour maps, 3D models, volumetric reports, and base maps for client use. Ensure data accuracy, QA/QC compliance, and standardization of coordinate systems (e.g., WGS 84, UTM). Prepare survey reports, analysis documentation, and technical presentations for submission.
