Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

IT Project Management Support MES implementations at Wabtec sites under guidance of the Implementation Manager

Implementation:

1. Project Planning & Execution

Adhere to the project plan developed by the Implementation Manager
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, manufacturing, QA, etc.).

2. Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact between IT, MES vendors, and business units.
Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Manage expectations and ensure alignment across departments.
Create and maintain implementation documentation as required

3. Risk & Issue Management

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Maintain a risk register and implement contingency plans as needed.
Escalate critical issues to leadership with recommended solutions.

4. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support

Support the gol-live execution and hypercare.
Monitor system performance and user feedback post-launch.
Coordinate issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts with the Implementation manager.
