Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical / Mining)
• Candidates with strong mining & machinery domain knowledge are highly preferred

Cognecto is looking for a driven Project Manager to lead on-ground execution of digital mining and machinery monitoring projects. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with exposure to mines, heavy earth-moving machinery (HEMM)

Required Skills

• Understanding of mining operations & HEMM (Dumpers, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers)
• Basic knowledge of IT systems, IoT, GPS, sensors, or fleet management
• Leadership & stakeholder coordination
• Strong communication & reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Planning, scheduling & execution tracking
• Presentation & client-facing skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project execution at mining sites
• Coordinate with mine officials, OEMs, contractors, and internal tech teams
• Oversee deployment of IT systems, IoT devices, GPS, sensors, cameras
• Ensure timely project delivery, quality checks, and issue resolution
• Conduct software training and handholding for site users
• Monitor machinery data, uptime, and system health
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, progress reports, and presentations
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) at site
• Support audits, compliance, and performance reviews
