Overview:
The Project Management Officer (PMO) will oversee and support
end-to-end delivery of Learning Management System SaaS
implementation projects across multiple clients. The role requires strong
project governance, stakeholder management, and coordination skills to
ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project execution in
alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Governance & Planning
- Define and standardize project management processes, tools, and
templates for LMS SaaS implementations.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in
collaboration with Implementation Managers and Technical
Consultants.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive implementation plans that
include current project status, milestones, and dependencies.
- Identify and call out delays proactively, highlighting their impact on
timelines and dependencies.
- Track milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure
adherence to project scope and objectives.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Maintain a detailed Risk Register identifying project risks, potential
impacts, and owners.
- Highlight key risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure
timely intervention.
- Monitor open risks and issues, escalating to leadership when
required to prevent project slippages.
- Execution & Delivery Oversight
- Monitor progress of ongoing implementation projects and identify
potential risks or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering,
Solutions, and Support) to drive deliverables.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and quality
standards before go-live.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a central point of communication for project
updates, risk escalations, and status reports.
- Conduct periodic governance/ steerco meetings with customers and
internal leadership to present project health reports.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management
teams to ensure a smooth handover post-implementation.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation including charters,
RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and
meeting minutes.
- Generate and share periodic dashboards and reports on project
performance, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Provide risk and mitigation summaries as part of weekly and
monthly governance reporting.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps and recommend best practices to enhance
implementation efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Support post-project reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration,
Information Technology, or related field.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or PMO within
SaaS, preferably in LMS or EdTech domain.
