Project Engineer

Role Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget. This role involves managing project updates, liaising with consultants , and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external consultants, including planning and design consultants and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) specialists, to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Support the project manager in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation as required.
• Foster effective communication among project team members, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all project components.
• Develop and update measurement sheets to track quantities and progress.
• Conduct rate analysis for various project activities to support budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Proven experience in project engineering or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQ, measurement sheets, and performing rate analysis.
• Attention to detail in quantity estimation and cost assessment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹162,222.80 - ₹420,000.00 per year
