Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing construction activities as per project timelines.
• Review drawings, technical specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors for technical clarifications and project progress.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality, safety, and adherence to standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight potential delays or issues.
• Support the Project Manager in resource planning, material approvals, and procurement follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, and other authority requirements.
• Resolve technical challenges and propose practical site solutions.
• Maintain documentation, method statements, checklists, and QA/QC records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Project/Site Engineer in UAE (contracting background preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
