Project Engineer – LED Lighting Systems (Electrical Engineering Background)

Company Overview:

We are a forward-thinking organization involved in the design, development, and deployment of high-performance LED lighting systems. We are currently seeking motivated and skilled Electrical Engineering graduates (B.Tech/M.Tech) with a keen interest in project research, development, and market analysis for our upcoming LED product line.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing comprehensive project reports for high-end LED lighting solutions.
• Conducting in-depth technical research on LED components (drivers, heat sinks, optics, PCB, casing, etc.).
• Studying and documenting assembly processes for LED lights (manual and automated).
• Identifying and recommending the machinery and tools required for manufacturing and testing.
• Performing cost analysis, bill of materials (BOM) preparation, and vendor sourcing.
• Conducting market research to assess demand, competition, pricing, and industry trends.
• Collaborating with R&D, procurement, and production teams for prototype development.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and certification requirements (e.g., BIS, RoHS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft technical specifications and layouts for LED lighting products.
• Evaluate components for efficiency, thermal management, and durability.
• Perform simulations and feasibility studies.
• Create manufacturing process flowcharts and identify optimization areas.
• Estimate project costs and ROI.
• Study national and international market trends, competitor products, and technology advancements.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Knowledge of LED technology, power electronics, and lighting standards.
• Understanding of electronic components and circuit design.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, PSpice), and MS Office.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial machinery is a plus.
