Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with daily coordination, documentation, and communication tasks.
• Review and process construction documents including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintain and update project schedules and cost control logs.
• Coordinate remotely with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support project execution.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up notes for project meetings.
• Conduct virtual inspections and reporting to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance.
• Organize and manage project documentation using cloud-based tools (e.g., SharePoint, Procore).
• Prepare closeout documentation and support final project punch list resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software tools such as Bluebeam and Procore (or equivalents).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a remote environment.
• Must be able to operate during standard Pacific Time (PT) hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial or healthcare construction projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-based project management tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or working toward a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
