Job Title: Remote Project Engineer (Contract | Pacific Time Hours) Location: Remote Working Hours: Must be available to work and report during Pacific Time (PT) hours About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support ongoing construction projects in a fully remote capacity. This is a contract-based, full-time position where you’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure smooth coordination, technical accuracy, and timely documentation. Key Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers with daily coordination, documentation, and communication tasks. Review and process construction documents including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Maintain and update project schedules and cost control logs. Coordinate remotely with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support project execution. Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up notes for project meetings. Conduct virtual inspections and reporting to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance. Organize and manage project documentation using cloud-based tools (e.g., SharePoint, Procore). Prepare closeout documentation and support final project punch list resolution. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering roles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software tools such as Bluebeam and Procore (or equivalents). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a remote environment. Must be able to operate during standard Pacific Time (PT) hours. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial or healthcare construction projects. Familiarity with cloud-based project management tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid). OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or working toward a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
