- To create a product for our customers that serves a greater purpose to communities around
the world
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Rapid Learning and Skill Development: Embrace a steep learning curve to rapidly expand product knowledge, abilities, and toolkit (e.g., Altium Designer, Electrical SPICE simulation, industry standards (IPC, ISO, etc.), debugging, testing, Agile development methods) to apply to electrical hardware design and validations from concept to production.End-to-End Electrical Hardware Support: Utilize your expertise to efficiently turn engineering requirements into reality. Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly manufacturing, test labs, component suppliers, engineering labs, software engineers, and internal/external customers throughout the development process, from early development to production and beyond.Expertise in Power Electronics Hardware: Demonstrate proficiency in PCB design for low power electronic hardware such as solenoid and motor control (<60V, <50A). This includes designing for EMC, ESD, thermal, noise, etc. Showcase experience in components selection and robust PCB layout. Design and select hardware suitable for automotive and off-highway markets. Utilize cutting-edge software (e.g., Altium, Ansys, Amesim, ICEPak). Conduct testing, validation, and documentation for production.
Deep Understanding of Electrical power and communication systems. Utilize your knowledge of software, mechanical, and electrical domains to set up simulations, firmware, component tests, systems tests, and modifications of a PCBA. Leverage your expertise to break down electrical systems into underlying components and circuits, proposing, implementing, testing, writing software, and validating function/fit with respect to requirements.Strong Team Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high-pressure atmosphere. Combine a balance of attention to detail and complete work within project timelines while complying with process, quality, safety, and communication expectations.
