Job Title : Junior Automation Engineer – Siemens S7-300 & SIMATIC Manager Location : India Experience Required : 6 months to 2 year Job Type : Full-Time Job Description : We are looking for a passionate Junior Automation Engineer with basic hands-on experience in Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 PLCs using SIMATIC Manager (Step 7 Classic) . The candidate will support automation project execution, PLC programming, testing, and field commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities : Develop and modify PLC logic for S7-300 systems using SIMATIC Manager (Step 7 Classic) . Perform hardware configuration , diagnostics , and program downloads . Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems on client sites. Interface with HMIs and ensure communication over Profibus , MPI , or RS-485 . Support panel testing , I/O verification , and field device integration . Document changes in logic , wiring , and system architecture . Key Skills : Familiarity with Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 PLCs. Proficiency in SIMATIC Manager (Step 7 Classic) environment. Understanding of PLC hardware addressing , OB/FC/FB programming , and cross-references . Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols ( Profibus , RS-485 , etc.). Experience with field instrumentation , sensors , and control panels . Preferred Qualifications : Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Exposure to real-time commissioning or maintenance of PLC systems.
