Job Description – Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator with hands-on experience in material handling and project execution. The ideal candidate will support project managers and teams in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects related to heavy machinery, engineering construction, and building material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

 Coordinate and monitor day-to-day project activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

 Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track project progress.  Plan, manage, and oversee material handling operations including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

 Maintain documentation of project schedules, budgets, resources, and compliance requirements.

 Assist in vendor coordination, negotiation, and material dispatch planning.

 Identify potential risks and delays in material handling and propose corrective actions.

 Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.

 Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality compliance throughout project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

 Strong knowledge of material handling systems, equipment, and processes.

 Excellent coordination, planning, and organizational skills.

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

 Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor management.

 Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

knowledge of project management software is a plus.

 Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Industrial / Production Engineering or related field.

 4–5 years of experience in project coordination within heavy machinery, construction, or engineering industries with a focus on material handling.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
