Full Time
Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning,executing, and supervising acoustic projects from start to completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource allocation for acoustic works.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
Review technical drawings, BOQs, site requirements, and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with acoustic engineering standards and client requirements.
2. Site Supervision & Monitoring
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress.
Supervise installation teams and ensure acoustic treatments, panels, insulation, and related
works are executed correctly.
Identify risks, delays, or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain daily/weekly site reports and update management.
3. Client Coordination & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the company for project-related
activities.
Conduct project meetings, clarify technical queries, and provide status updates.
Manage client expectations regarding scope, timeline, and deliverables.
4. Resource & Vendor Management
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of acoustic materials.
Verify material quality and ensure installation meets required standards.
Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
5. Budget & Cost Control
Monitor project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
Review vendor invoices, labour costs, and project-related expenses.
Prepare project MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
6. Quality Assurance & Safety
Ensure all acoustic works meet quality standards, industry benchmarks, and company
guidelines.
Enforce safety protocols at the project site and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all project documentation including project schedules, drawings, approvals, and closing reports.
Prepare handover documentation and ensure project closure with client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Acoustics preferred.
Project Management certification (PMP/Prince2) is an added advantage.
Experience
3–7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the acoustic, interior, MEP, or construction industry.
Hands-on experience with site supervision and project coordination.
Skills
Strong knowledge of acoustic materials, soundproofing, and installation techniques.
Excellent project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management ability.
Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD (basic), MS Excel, and reporting tools.
Problem-solving, leadership, and team supervision skills.
