Project Civil Engineer

Position: Project Civil EngineerLocation: Across 3 Sites in KarnatakaEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole:The Project Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end civil construction activities across three project locations in Karnataka. The role includes planning, hiring the required resources, supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, safety monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop site execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for all three sites.Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines.Prepare daily/weekly execution plans and monitor progress.2. Site Supervision & CoordinationOversee daily construction activities across the assigned sites.Hire and Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.Ensure proper deployment of manpower, machinery, and materials.3. Quality Control & ComplianceImplement quality standards for materials and workmanship at all sites.Conduct regular inspections and maintain QC documentation.Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and client requirements.4. Material ManagementPrepare material estimates, GFC requirements, and inventory tracking.Raise material requisitions and ensure timely supply to sites.Verify material quality and maintain consumption records.5. Drawings & DocumentationStudy and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and construction details.Maintain site reports: DPR, WPR, material reports, labour reports.Report deviations, RFI submissions, and maintain site documentation.6. Coordination With StakeholdersLiaise with consultants, architects, clients, and management for smooth workflow.Attend project review meetings and provide progress updates.Coordinate approval processes and resolve site-related challenges.7. Safety & ComplianceEnsure safety protocols and PPE usage at all sites.Identify hazards and enforce corrective measures.Maintain site safety records and incident reporting.8. Cost & Time ControlMonitor and control project costs, wastage, and productivity.Support billing team with measurements, RA bills, and verification.Ensure timely completion of milestones within budget.9. Multi-Site ManagementTravel between project sites as per requirement.Prioritize tasks across multiple locations and ensure smooth workflow.Oversee site engineers/supervisors (if assigned).Required Qualifications & SkillsB.E / Diploma in Civil Engineering.4–7 years of experience in site execution (residential/commercial/industrial).Strong knowledge of civil construction, structural works, finishing works.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools.Ability to handle multi-site operations independently.Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.Willingness to travel frequently within Karnataka.Additional RequirementsAbility to work under deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.Strong documentation and reporting skills.Commitment to quality and safety standards.
