About this opportunity:

The telecom market in India is in a booming phase ever since the 5G spectrum auction was finalized in August 2022. This is driven by a combination of a much-needed capacity increase to cater for the continuously growing traffic consumption, and the digitalization agenda of the country.In particular, our customer RJIO has deployed a 5G network at an unprecedented pace with the most advanced 5G SA networks in the world. To support RJIO in their ambition and position Ericsson as the technology partner of choice, we are looking for a

Program Manger 5G RAN SW

to lead the RAN SW projects including rollout & governance within CU RJIO

,

who will be the overall responsible for securing Ericsson’s position as RJIO’s preferred partner.

What You Will Do

Proactively drive the RAN SW rollout and governance, both pre-GA & GA to ensure that Jio’s network is always operating with the latest SW release and ensure the best network performance.
Manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver SW upgrades efficiently and effectively with minimum disruptions to the NW performance.
Ensure timely planning of new feature testing, FFI’s & trials in CD zone, as agreed with Jio’s Planning & Engineering & Operations teams.
Align and drive agreement with stakeholders within the CU technology team, CS team, Ericsson R&D team, Jio operations, Jio lab, etc on the SW rollout strategy and timelines.
Ensure we deliver the SW of the highest quality and proactively follow up on issues, performance degradations and work with Ericsson R&D to continuously improve the delivery process.
Act with authority to develop both internal and external relation/s to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful.

You will bring

Experience from 5G RAN deployments.
Experience from leading RAN SW development or testing in lab or real NW environments.
Program management skills to lead, manage and coordinate a diverse team of individuals across multiple locations and time zones.
Exposure to working with the global CD program will be a plus.
Exposure to working with RAN R&D tools and environment will be a plus.
Outstanding teamwork, networking, and critical thinking skills
A strong sense of ownership, and accountability with a passion to win!
