Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Ensure successful project delivery within budget & timeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business strategy development
  • Role Objective:
  • To drive and govern project management processes across the organization, ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and cross-functional alignment for all strategic and operational projects within companies.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Governance & Monitoring:
  • Establish and implement standardized project management frameworks, tools, and templates across business verticals.
  • Track progress of all strategic and operational projects against defined milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and highlight deviations or risks to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Collaborate with business heads to define project charters, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with organizational objectives and business strategy.
  • Support prioritization and resource allocation decisions based on business impact.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards and MIS reports for management reviews.
  • Provide insights and analytics for decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Maintain repository of project learnings and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams—Engineering, Operations, Finance, Purchase, and HR—to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Identify potential risks, prepare mitigation plans, and monitor implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external compliance norms related to project execution.
  • Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMI standards).
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / Power BI / Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to drive accountability and results in a multi-project environment.
  • Educational Qualification:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering.
  • MBA or PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3-10 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or Strategic Planning roles.
  • Experience in Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional, and capex projects.
  • Key Deliverables:
  • Standardized project reporting framework across business units.
  • On-time delivery of strategic projects with measurable business impact.
  • Improved visibility and governance on resource utilization and capital deployment.
