If so, click apply and join us. Design for Excellence (DfX) plays a key role at Philips and collaborates between business functions to address total end-to-end cost and margin improvement. It often establishes new ways of working and encourages cooperation and transparency at a product and business level. Your role Co-creating a 12–18-month business & profitability improvement roadmap with business & function partners based on data-driven insights. Coaching the project team members on the Design for Excellence and Design to Value Methodology Create an extended network of expertise and drive talent transformation Lead strategic initiatives to improve business and profitability, transforming team and business practices, for example: creating an engagement model for R&D concept development and optimizing portfolios by reducing components. Supporting knowledge management through maintaining and expanding our toolkit and best practice database You're the right fit if: Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline (for example, Engineering or other technical background) + MBA or equivalent experience Professional with 8+ years of strong track record leading cross-functional projects, and developing teams, with a high level of comfort with ambiguity Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management principles, SAFe/Agile, Continuous improvement (for example, LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen techniques), value proposition creation and/or design thinking Proficient with data analysis and visualization tools (for example, Qlikview, Tableau, R, SQL, Python, OBS) Previous experience in a regulated market (for example, medical device, aerospace, automotive) with prior consulting, medical device experience a plus About Philips We are a health technology company.
