Engineer – Program Management

Key Responsibilities

• Program Ownership:

  Own delivery of assigned customer programs—plan, track, and report progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

• NPI & Industrialization:

  Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) including DFM/DFA reviews, BOM validation, prototype builds, and production readiness (PFMEA, Control Plan, SOPs).

• Customer Interface:

  Act as the primary point of contact for customers—manage change requests (ECR/ECN), commitments, and weekly cadence reviews.

• Cross-Functional Execution:

  Coordinate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Production Planning, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

• Project Planning:

  Build and maintain integrated project plans, resource loading, critical path analysis, stage-gate milestones, and risk registers.

• Cost & Margin Management:

  Partner with commercial and sourcing teams on RFQ, costed BOMs, should-cost analysis, and margin improvement actions.

• Quality & Compliance:

  Ensure adherence to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610), ISO 9001/13485, IATF 16949/AS9100 (as applicable), and customer-specific requirements.

• Supply Chain Readiness:

  Align sourcing, AVL/AML, lead times, supplier PPAP, and inventory strategies for ramp and steady-state.

• Change & Risk Management:

  Lead program change control, risk identification/mitigation, and issue resolution; escalate proactively.

• Data & Reporting:

  Publish weekly dashboards (OTD, yield, FPY, CTQ), program health reports, and executive summaries.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Identify and implement cycle time, cost, yield and process improvements (Lean/Kaizen/6).

• Compliance & EHS:

  Ensure engineering and production activities meet EHS, security, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Electronics

  ,

  , or related discipline.

• 3–7 years

  of experience in Program/Project Management within EMS/Manufacturing (PCBA, Box Build, Cable Harness, or related).
• Hands-on experience with

  NPI

  DFM/DFA

  ,

  BOM

  and documentation control,

  ECR/ECN

  , and

  stage-gate

  processes.
• Proven ability to manage

  multi-disciplinary projects

  with aggressive timelines and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with

  MS Project

  Excel

  , and ERP tools (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
