  • Strategic Leadership :
Develop andarticulate a clear strategic vision for the Business Unit within the BIJ-PMUframework.
Provideleadership and guidance to ensure effective program planning and executionaligned with project management principles.
  • Program Planning and Implementation :
Oversee thedevelopment of detailed program plans, ensuring alignment with organizationalobjectives and project management methodologies.
Ensure thetimely and successful implementation of programs within the assigned BusinessUnit, adhering to PMU standards.
  • Stakeholder Management :
Build andmaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders,including government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and partners.
Fostercollaboration and effective communication channels to support program successwithin the PMU context.
  • Team Management :
Lead,mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team within the BIJ-PMU framework,ensuring cohesion and a collaborative work environment.
Provideguidance and support for professional development and performance improvementin line with project management best practices.
  • Project Coordination :
Effectivelycoordinate and collaborate with the BIJ-PMU Unit to ensure seamless integrationof project management principles into program planning and execution.
Utilizeproject management tools and methodologies to enhance program efficiency anddelivery.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation :
Establishrobust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms within the BIJ-PMU framework totrack program outcomes and project performance.
Utilizedata-driven insights for continuous improvement and decision-making in projectimplementation.
  • Reporting :
Generateregular reports for senior management, stakeholders, and donors within theBIJ-PMU context, highlighting program progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Ensureaccurate and comprehensive documentation of program activities adhering toproject management standards.
  • Continuous Improvement :
Identifyopportunities for program enhancement, innovation, and efficiency within theBIJ-PMU framework.
Stayinformed about industry best practices and emerging trends

Education Requirement :
Necessary :
Postgraduate in social work /Sciences, Rural Management, Agriculture or other relevant fields
Desirable :
MBA with exposure of DevelopmentSpace

Experience Requirement :
Necessary
About 10-15 years of experience indevelopment sector
Strong communication skills #written and spoken # in English
Proficiency (spoken) in theprincipal language of the state where posted.
Desirable
Prior experience of leadershippositions in a rural development program
Experience in working in the ruraldevelopment projects with multi-stakeholders# collaborations and understandingon government programs
