Professor of Computer Science

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Computer Science Faculty member to join our academic team. The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, conducting assessments, guiding research/projects, and contributing to curriculum development in the field of Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in core Computer Science subjects (e.g., Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.).
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Mentor and guide students on academic projects, internships, and research.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in Computer Science and incorporate them into teaching.
• Contribute to curriculum design, academic planning, and departmental activities.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
• Maintain academic and administrative records as per institutional requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (M.Tech or higher; Ph.D. preferred)
• Strong knowledge of core Computer Science concepts and programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.).
• Prior teaching/industry experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic excellence.
