Professor of Computer Science

As a highly accomplished and motivated individual with a strong academic background, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and institutional service in the field of Computer Science. Your role will involve: - Developing and delivering engaging and challenging courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels - Using innovative teaching methods tailored to the Indian educational context - Mentoring and supervising student projects and theses - Contributing to the enhancement of the computer science curriculum - Actively engaging in ongoing curriculum development In terms of research, you will be expected to: - Conduct and publish high-quality research in your specialized area - Present research findings at prestigious international conferences and workshops - Seek and obtain research grants from national and international funding agencies - Guide doctoral students through their dissertation process Your service obligations will include: - Active participation in departmental committees, seminars, workshops, and colloquia - Engaging with the broader academic and research community in India and internationally - Contributing to the governance of IIT Delhi by participating in institute-level committees and initiatives Additionally, you should: - Stay updated on the latest research trends and technological advancements in computer science - Collaborate with other faculty members within and outside the department - Undertake additional academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of the Department or the Director This position is open to candidates specializing in various fields of Computer Science, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Theoretical Computer Science, Computer Systems, Databases, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, High-Performance Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Algorithms.,
