Your primary role will be to promote and sell our pharmaceutical products, build strong relationships with clients, and achieve sales targets within your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:
• Product Promotion and Sales: Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals) by conducting presentations, detailing product features, benefits, and clinical data to encourage prescriptions or purchases.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals through regular visits to medical facilities, addressing their queries, and fostering trust to encourage long-term partnerships.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and suggestions to the company for developing effective marketing strategies.
• Product Education: Educate healthcare professionals on the proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects of pharmaceutical products, staying updated with the latest clinical data and research.
• Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory through effective communication and persuasion.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and feedback to track progress and report to the Area Sales Manager.
• Conferences and Events: Represent the company at medical conferences, seminars, and trade shows to promote products and network with potential clients.
• Ethical Conduct: Adhere to ethical standards and industry regulations, ensuring all interactions with healthcare professionals are compliant and prioritize patient safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Nursing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field. Additional training in marketing, sales, or communication is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex medical information clearly and persuasively.
• Basic sales and negotiation skills to influence healthcare professionals and meet sales targets.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster trust with clients.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage schedules, travel, and deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic pharmaceutical industry.
