Production Support Analyst

Job Description

Job Title : PL/SQL and Unix Support Analyst Location : Nagpur Experience : 3–6 years Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 support for applications running on Oracle databases with PL/SQL and Unix components. Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues related to PL/SQL procedures, jobs, and Unix shell scripts. Perform regular monitoring and health checks on scheduled jobs and data loads. Debug and fix failed batch jobs, SQL queries, and shell scripts. Work closely with development teams, DBAs, and business users for issue resolution and impact analysis. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions. Create and maintain support documentation, job run books, and knowledge base articles. Required Skills: Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL – writing/debugging procedures, functions, packages. Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting – reading/editing/debugging scripts. Solid understanding of job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys). Experience working in a production support or application support environment. Good communication and documentation skills.
