Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for end-to-end production planning and execution, including SKU and BOM management, production scheduling, and ownership of the complete product production lifecycle. This role requires close coordination with Purchase and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure timely material availability, quality compliance, and on-time delivery. The Production Manager will also provide regular production updates and performance reports to Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all active SKUs, ensuring BOM accuracy, version control, and optimal inventory levels.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet demand forecasts and delivery timelines.
• Own the complete production lifecycle from product release to mass production and final dispatch.
• Coordinate with Purchase teams and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
• Work closely with the QC team to align inspections, testing, and corrective actions within defined timelines.
• Identify production risks, delays, or quality issues and implement timely corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare and present regular production status reports to the Product Head and Management.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in production planning, SKU/BOM management, and lifecycle execution.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing roles.
