Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets Manage and guide production workers, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Monitor production processes to minimize downtime, waste, and defects Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and preventive maintenance Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing or 5S Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to production staff Coordinate with Quality, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations Address and resolve production issues, employee concerns, and workflow bottlenecks Required Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical documents Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems preferred) Understanding of quality standards and safety regulations
