Job Description

Position : Production & Quality Engineer (Fabrication)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Min. 2 years experience in Equipment fabrication, Structural fabrication, Machinery & Project handling.
  • Technical Skills: Should have knowledge of various manufacturing process like - Fabrication, Machining, Cutting, Drilling, Welding, Sheet metals, Bending, Grinding, etc. In depth knowledge of Production planning and scheduling.
  • Should have knowledge of quality check & assurance parameters in manufacturing process.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English for effective communication with team members and other departments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee & Monitor daily production activities to ensure efficient and smooth operations in collaboration with the Production Manager.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production data, including batch information and material usage.
  • Production activity & execution planning as per delivery date. Should able to handle manpower accordingly.
  • Prepare list out of outsourcing material & Outsourcing & vender follow up.
  • Drawing study/reading & Drawing allocation to production supervisor.
  • Maintaining material stocks and ordering whenever necessary.
  • Co-ordination with Project, Design, Process, Purchase, Maintenance & Store department.
  • Co-ordination with clients, Third party inspection agency.
  • Plan & manage dispatch activity of finish/ready material.
  • Verifying all designs and making sure if all requirements are fulfilled in in accordance with design/client requirement. Welding Inspection/ filler wire inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordination with Purchase for materials requirements.
  • Technically sound, good Communication Skill, Result Oriented.
  • Good in Computer basic skill, Email, Microsoft excel/word, report creation.

Reporting To: Plant Manager

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per Month
