Description
You will be joining Siemens Energy as a Production Order Group Supervisor in the Final Assembly department at Kalwa-TR. As part of a culture defined by caring, agile, respectful, and accountable individuals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production with high-quality standards, following production technology and processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Manpower handling and material management on the shop floor: - Allocating manpower as per the planned allocation chart - Ensuring the right person is in the right place for quality and desired output - Monitoring and controlling workstation productivity - Recording and analyzing work entries in the ERP system - Ensuring efficient production with high-quality standards and availability of material and technical specifications at each workstation - Ensuring work is carried out as per Safety Norms and standard work instructions - Ensuring workstation cleanliness and following 5S+ work practices - Work Safety and 5S on the shop floor: - Awareness of shop floor practices like 5S, Kaizen, and ISO procedures for Health and Safety - Conducting Toolbox talks with workmen, contract workers, and trainees - Recording unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, accidents, and closing audit findings - Generating scrap/hazard intimation forms, raising and closing non-conformances during manufacturing You should possess: - Minimum Diploma / BE Mechanical with 2 to 3 years of experience in transformer Manufacturing - Graduate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical engineering - Knowledge about CCA, final assembly, and their criticality - Strong leadership and manpower handling skills, customer intimacy, and organizational skills - Willingness to work in all three shifts on the shop floor - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously - Solid understanding of Safety and quality standards and practices - Awareness of soft skills like Microsoft Office - Excel, MS-Word, and PowerPoint This role is based in Kalwa-TR, Mumbai, with opportunities to visit other global locations.
