Job Description

As a Production Order Group Supervisor in the Final Assembly department at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Manpower handling and material management on the shop floor: - Allocating manpower based on the planned allocation chart - Ensuring the right person is in the right place for quality output - Monitoring and controlling workstation productivity - Recording and analyzing work entries in the ERP system - Ensuring efficient production with high-quality standards and adherence to production processes - Maintaining material and technical specifications availability at each workstation - Ensuring work is carried out following Safety Norms and standard work instructions - Maintaining workstation cleanliness and adherence to 5S+ practices - Work Safety and 5S on the shop floor: - Familiarity with shop floor practices like 5S, Kaizen, etc. - Exposure to ISO procedures for Health, safety, and Quality management systems - Conducting Toolbox talks with workmen, contract workers, and trainees at the start of shifts - Recording unsafe acts, conditions, near misses, incidents, and accidents - Timely closure of audit findings - Generating scrap/hazard intimation forms during shift working hours - Handling non-conformances encountered during manufacturing Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum Diploma / BE Mechanical with 2 to 3 years of experience in transformer Manufacturing - Graduate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical engineering - Knowledge of CCA, final assembly, and their criticality - Strong leadership and manpower handling skills, customer intimacy, and organizational skills - Willingness to work in all three shifts on the shop floor - Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously - Solid understanding of Safety and quality standards and practices - Proficiency in soft skills like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentation Siemens Energy is a diverse and inclusive workplace dedicated to equality, where over 379,000 minds across 200 countries work together to shape the future.
