Your Role And Responsibilities: The selected candidate will develop an effective Business Line sales strategy within the global OEM Automotive Robotics segment. You will be tasked with improving ABB's market penetration, increasing customer intimacy, and realizing the Business Line's growth aspirations. Your responsibilities include defining, planning, leading, and ensuring the execution of the sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and solutions. This is to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will proactively monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to secure business growth as needed. Additionally, you will lead, develop, and coach the Sales organization to achieve sales targets through high performance, understanding organizational sales needs, and executing development activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools for monitoring performance. - Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, creating implementation plans, and allocating required resources. - Participating in the negotiation of key contracts. - Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes, tools, training, and development activities. - Promoting and enabling collaboration within and across divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB. - Providing guidance to teams, seeking knowledge for personal development, and coaching/mentoring the teams. - Building effective, competent, and high-performing teams. - Monitoring and maintaining/exceeding sales market price levels and ensuring adherence to pricing impact evaluations with the Product Management team. - Supporting Sales organizations to achieve sales volume and product mix targets. - Ensuring staff understand ABB's core values, group safety, and integrity standards and act accordingly. - Implementing and ensuring compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, policies, and processes in the assigned area. Qualifications For The Role: - Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a similar field and/or a minimum of 20 years of experience in sales. - Prior sales leadership experience in automation, robotics, or a similar industry. - Experience in leading a global sales function, including target setting, documented achievement in global locations. - Previous experience in setting sales strategy for key customers and understanding business drivers to meet profitability goals. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent negotiation and closing skills. - Advanced communication in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
