Job Description

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for automotive components such as stamping, machining, casting, plastic injection, and assembly. Your role will involve ensuring that production cost targets, quality standards, yield rates, productivity levels, and safety metrics are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with R&D, Design, Quality, and Tooling teams to ensure the manufacturability of new products - Conduct process capability studies, FMEA, root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives - Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects to reduce waste, cycle time, and overall costs - Monitor and enhance equipment efficiency, uptime, and maintenance coordination - Create process documentation, develop work instructions, and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Offer technical support during production, troubleshoot issues, and suggest corrective/preventive actions - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Proven experience in manufacturing process optimization, preferably in the automotive industry - Proficiency in tools such as process capability studies, FMEA, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing techniques - Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving operational excellence and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
