Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager with 15–20 years of expertise in sheet metal and heavy structural steel fabrication. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end production process to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will lead strategic planning, resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company goals and customer requirements.

Collaborate with senior leadership to set targets and manage production budgets.

2. Resource Management

Allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to achieve production targets.

Optimize workflows and schedules to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

3. Team Leadership

Lead and mentor supervisors, engineers, and skilled workers.

Foster a collaborative, productive work culture.

Organize regular training programs to upskill the production team.

4. Quality Control

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and procedures.

Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality-related issues promptly.

5. Process Improvement

Identify areas for operational enhancement and cost reduction.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.

6. Health & Safety Compliance

Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe workplace.

Conduct periodic safety training to prevent workplace incidents.

7. Communication

Provide regular updates on production goals, KPIs, and challenges to senior management.

Ensure clear communication across departments to resolve production issues.

8. Budget Management

Manage production costs and drive cost-efficiency.

Monitor budget adherence while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in sheet metal and structural steel fabrication.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
