Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Job Summary:

Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products.

Allocate resources effectively to optimize output and minimize downtime.

Supervise and lead the production team, including line supervisors and operators.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

Ensure products are produced on time and meet quality standards.

Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and packaging teams for new product introductions and process optimization.

Implement cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean manufacturing).

Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and performance reports.

Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Prepare and submit production reports and performance metrics to senior management.

Train and mentor production staff to improve skillsets and overall team performance

1. Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (MBA is a plus).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.

Solid understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes:

 Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

 Exposure to ISO, GMP, or other relevant compliance frameworks.

 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
