Job Description

Production Planning & Control: Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules. Ensure timely availability of raw materials, tools, and labor. Monitor production KPIs like output, efficiency, rejection rate, etc. Team Management: Supervise and lead production staff (operators, supervisors, quality inspectors). Assign responsibilities and ensure adherence to targets. Conduct training and skill development programs. Quality Assurance: Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets company standards. Implement corrective actions to address quality issues. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and improve productivity using lean techniques or 5S, Kaizen, etc. Suggest and implement cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing initiatives. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Promote and monitor safe working practices across the production floor. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily production reports, downtime logs, and other production records. Analyze data and present insights to senior management. Coordination: Work closely with procurement, maintenance, quality, HR, and stores teams. Coordinate with design or R&D teams for new product introductions.
