Production Manager ( Garments Industry )

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with strong Industrial Engineering (IE) knowledge to oversee and optimize garment manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, workflow optimization, and coordination across multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders, prepare goods, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.
• Coordinate with fabric, cutting, and merchandising teams for preparation and approval of required samples.
• Collaborate with pattern masters for fabric programming and alignment with production plans.
• Coordinate with fabric and cutting departments to match fabric and cutting requirements with the sewing plan.
• Implement Industrial Engineering principles (line balancing, workflow optimization, SMV calculation) to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Monitor production schedules, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor production staff for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile/ Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in garment production management.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering techniques.
• Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities across multiple teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
