GAPPU is dedicated to crafting a unique range of high-quality percussion instruments including Cajon, Guitar, Ukulele, Wooden Shaker, Wooden Bongo, Foot Tambourine, Cajon Drum, and more. Our instruments are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans with a focus on productivity and longevity. Each instrument produces exceptional sound quality, reflecting our commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. Located in our workshop, we emphasize quality and care in every piece we produce.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include managing the production schedule, coordinating with craftsmen, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that all instruments meet the high standards of GAPPU. The role also involves inventory management, overseeing procurement of materials, and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications

Project Management, Time Management, and Leadership skills
Experience with Production Planning, Scheduling, and Workflow Optimization
Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Problem-Solving abilities
Inventory Management and Procurement expertise
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area
Experience in the music or instrument manufacturing industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related fields preferred
