Production Manager – CNC/VMC Machining Unit

About the Role We’re launching a new precision machining unit and are looking for a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to lead the charge. If you are passionate about CNC/VMC operations, process excellence, and leading shopfloor teams, this is your opportunity to build and lead a new plant from the ground up. 🎯 What You'll Do 🏭 Plant Setup & Operations Lead the commissioning of CNC/VMC machines (4-axis, turn-mill etc.) Plan and execute machining operations to meet production, quality, and delivery targets Ensure effective resource utilization: manpower, machines, and tools 👥 Team & Process Management Manage operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams Train and mentor, the team in best practices, TPM, and 5S Enforce process discipline and build a culture of quality on the shopfloor ⚙️ Technical & Continuous Improvement Implement TPM, ISO/IATF-16949, and Lean Manufacturing principles Lead VAVE, productivity improvement, and cost optimization projects Develop jigs/fixtures in coordination with design and NPD teams 💼 Capex & Project Leadership Assess equipment needs and prepare CAPEX proposals Lead internal projects for machinery procurement and setup Support prototyping to serial production transitions in collaboration with customers ✅ What You Bring Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering 6+ years in precision machining, with 2–3 years in a leadership role Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC machines and machining processes Proficient in CNC programming, tooling, and ERP/CAD/CAM systems (Fanuc Control) Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) Familiarity with TPM, Lean, 5S, and safety standards ⭐ Bonus If You Have Experience in greenfield plant setup or commissioning Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or TPM Exposure to cross-functional leadership (quality, maintenance, supply chain) 🚀 Why Join Us?
