Production Engineer

Experience required in CRGO industry

Experience - 1 to 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Monitor and control CRGO production lines to ensure efficient workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
• Process Improvement: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime and costs.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure that all products meet required standards and customer specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues promptly and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Production Scheduling: Coordinate with planning and logistics teams to develop and maintain production schedules using SAP.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
• Data Monitoring: Use SAP to track KPIs such as output, scrap rates, and production time; generate and analyze performance reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
• Training & Support: Train shop floor personnel on production procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Cost Control: Identify and implement cost-saving measures in raw material usage, energy, and manpower.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
• 1 to 3 years in a production engineering role, preferably in CRGO or steel manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with CRGO production processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP (PP/MM/PM modules preferred) for production and maintenance tracking.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of CRGO material behavior and processing.
• Familiarity with process optimization tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• SAP software experience for production planning and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
