Job Description

We are looking for a Production Engineer with hands-on experience in fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, manage fabrication processes, and ensure smooth production flow as per design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily fabrication and sheet metal production activities.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, BOMs, and assembly layouts.
Ensure production as per drawings, design specifications, and quality standards.
Plan, schedule, and allocate work to fabrication teams and operators.
Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth workflow.
Optimize material usage and minimize wastage.
Monitor production efficiency, manpower utilization, and machine performance.
Maintain production reports, job cards, and related documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures on the shop floor.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and provide technical guidance to the team.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in fabrication and sheet metal industry.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with production planning and control.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of welding symbols, tolerances, and quality parameters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
