Production engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineer (Fresher) to join our interior design and manufacturing team. The candidate should have basic knowledge of interior production machines, factory processes, and computer operations. This role involves supporting the production team, ensuring smooth workflow, and assisting in maintaining quality standards in manufacturing and site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring interior production activities.

• Operate and support basic interior machines (CNC, edge banding, panel saw, drilling, etc.) under supervision.

• Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and vendors to ensure timely execution.

• Prepare and maintain production reports and daily records.

• Support quality checks and ensure adherence to design specifications.

• Assist in inventory management of raw materials, tools, and consumables.

• Work with software tools (MS Office, AutoCAD basics) to update data and generate reports.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the factory/production unit.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of interior/furniture production machines.

• Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, basic AutoCAD or related software preferred).

• Understanding of production workflow and quality standards.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field.

Freshers are welcome; prior internship or training in interior production will be an added advantage.
