Production Engineer

Job Overview

A Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. They work across industries like automotive, electronics, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve systems and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in the facility
• Design and implement equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability
• Troubleshoot issues in machinery, processes, and operations
• Develop and maintain production schedules and manpower requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Apply new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and customers to resolve quality issues
• Train and supervise staff on new equipment and procedures
• Monitor and calibrate technical equipment for optimal performance
• Analyze production data and recommend improvements

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• Master’s degree preferred
• Relevant certifications or licenses may be required
• Proven 5+ years experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birla Nagar, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
