As a Production Engineer - Incident Management, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production systems and handling any incidents that may arise. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain the production systems to ensure high availability and performance Identify and troubleshoot any incidents or issues that may arise in the production environment Work closely with the development and operations teams to resolve incidents and implement solutions Develop and maintain incident management processes and procedures Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements to the production systems Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the production environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role Strong knowledge of incident management processes and tools Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, and troubleshooting production systems Proficient in scripting and automation tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously Good communication and interpersonal skills Additional Parameters Knowledge of banking and financial systems is a plus Experience with cloud technologies is preferred ITIL certification is a plus If you are a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and incident management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at IDFC FIRST Bank.
