About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day

  production engineering and shop-floor execution

• Read, interpret, and work through

  complex technical and fabrication drawings

• Support and optimize the

  transformer tank fabrication process

  (end-to-end)
• Identify and implement

  process improvements

  for quality, productivity, and lead time
• Help

  standardize fabrication, welding, and assembly processes

• Perform

  basic to intermediate costing analysis

  , including:
• Material usage and yield
• Fabrication and welding hours
• Process inefficiencies and cost drivers
• Maintain production, costing, and process data using

  Excel / Google Sheets

• Coordinate with customers on

  technical drawings, clarifications, and revisions

• Work cross-functionally with fabrication, quality, and planning teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.E. / B.Tech

  in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering

• 3–5 years

  of experience in heavy engineering or fabrication
• Strong ability to

  read and interpret fabrication drawings

• Practical understanding of

  shop-floor fabrication and welding processes

• Exposure to

  costing concepts

  related to fabrication and manufacturing
• Proficiency in

  Excel / Google Sheets

• Strong communication skills for internal coordination and customer discussions

Preferred

• Experience in

  transformer tank fabrication

• Experience with

  process standardization and continuous improvement

• Ability to use

  AI tools

  for analysis, documentation, or productivity
• Candidates based in or around

  Navi Mumbai
