Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of staff & workers, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet targets and deadlines.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production schedules and requirements.
• Optimize manpower utilization and maintain continuity of operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production processes, quality control measures, and equipment maintenance and ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department for machine breakdowns or scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the Quality department for maintaining Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment.
• Conduct safety training for production staff and enforce safety standards.
• Train operators and helpers on production-related activities to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor the effectiveness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping in the respective area to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes.

Required Skill Set:

• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
