What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Accountabilities:
  • Create works orders within the companies ERP system
  • Create production routes within the companies ERP system
  • Issue works order and drawings to the shop floor
  • Provide tight controls for all production papers (including engineering drawings)
  • Populate, maintain production plans & production Resource planner
  • Liaise with Project Managers on a regular basis to discuss the progress of all production projects and highlight any issues that may jeopardize the project shipping dates
  • Control project stock reservations
  • Create picking lists within the companies ERP system
  • Issue demand to supply chain
  • Expedite supply chain to ensure on time delivery of goods
  • Run, control and maintain the capacity planner from the company ERP system
  • Track Operational KPIs such as cost of poor quality and on time delivery
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Production Managers
  • Work closely with and provide support to the Production Leads to ensure orders are on time and to budgeted hours
  • Plan, schedule and prioritize operations for stores, Q.C goods in inspection and the shop floor (including sub contracted items)
  • Raise manual delivery notes and requisitions for all sub contracted work
  • Create project delivery notes.

Qualifications / Skills & Experience

Education

Essential

  • Degree/Diploma qualified or relevant planning experience within a busy manufacturing environment

Preferred

  • Project management qualification

Experience

Essential
  • Demonstrated skills in coordination of operational activities
  • Skilled in development of Pre Operations activities and teams
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical skills
  • Good organizational, teamwork, time management and communication skills.
  • Capable of document and procedure development and controls
  • Attention to detail with a good awareness of cost
  • Focus on continuous improvement and best practices application

Preferred

  • 2-3 years of service within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • ERP systems experience
