Job Description

As a Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan and schedule production activities. This includes creating schedules, determining resource needs, and ensuring that all necessary resources are available for smooth operations. You will also be managing resources such as materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize production efficiency. Ensuring quality standards is crucial in this role, and you will be responsible for setting and enforcing quality standards while monitoring production processes to guarantee that these standards are met consistently. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address any concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment. Managing costs is a key aspect of this position, where you will estimate costs, prepare budgets, and monitor manufacturing expenses to ensure optimal financial performance. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency will also be part of your responsibilities. Training and developing staff is essential, and you will be required to set performance goals, evaluate performance, and identify training needs to support the professional growth of the team. Effective communication is vital in this role as you will need to liaise with other departments, provide status reports, and ensure smooth coordination across different functions. Maintenance of equipment is another critical aspect of the role where you will be responsible for inspecting, changing, or fixing equipment as needed and organizing repairs to minimize downtime. Analyzing data, collecting relevant information, and producing reports will also be part of your routine tasks to support data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity for a yearly bonus. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree, although it is preferred rather than mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred for this role, and the work location will be in person.
