Product Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality control across raw material procurement, processing, packaging, and finished goods. This role is critical in maintaining JIVA’s brand promise of purity, safety, and superior taste.

• Develop, implement, and monitor

  quality assurance systems

  for spices and blended masalas
• Ensure compliance with

  FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and food safety regulations

• Approve and monitor

  raw material quality

  , supplier audits, and vendor quality standards
• Oversee

  in-process and finished product quality checks

  (colour, aroma, texture, moisture, microbial standards)
• Manage

  lab testing

  , internal audits, and third-party testing coordination
• Maintain proper

  documentation, SOPs, COAs, batch records, and traceability systems

• Handle

  customer complaints

  , root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Train production and packaging teams on

  quality hygiene, GMP, and food safety practices

• Work closely with procurement, production, and operations teams to ensure consistency and cost efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement in quality processes to support brand growth and scale

• Strong knowledge of

  spice quality parameters and adulteration control

• Hands-on experience in

  food safety audits and certifications

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong documentation and compliance management skills
• Ability to lead and train teams with a quality-first mindset
• Proactive, disciplined, and process-oriented approach

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

  Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field

• Experience in

  spices, masala manufacturing, or FMCG food brands

  is a must
