Job Description – Product Owner (Healthcare IT & Cloud Platforms) Position: Product Owner – Healthcare IT Experience: 8–12 years Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner with strong expertise in Healthcare IT, Cloud Platforms, and Requirements Engineering. The role involves owning and prioritizing product requirements across the lifecycle, from definition to phase-out, while ensuring platform scalability, compliance with medical standards, and alignment with customer needs. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn, manage, and prioritize requirements throughout the product lifecycle (definition → rollout → phase-out). Define platform requirements for native, on-premise, and cloud deployments. Provide clear direction, context, and priorities to development teams. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and engage with external stakeholders/customers. Gather, prioritize, and communicate stakeholder & market requirements and software specifications. Guide and support development teams, resolving conflicts and clarifying requirements. Manage Agile methodology practices related to requirements engineering and product definition. Provide inputs to project management and support rollout activities (training, presentations, workshops). Focus Areas Must Have: Deep knowledge of the Healthcare market, product landscape, and customer needs. Strong understanding of Clinical Workflows and Healthcare IT, especially Radiology. Expertise in Healthcare Industry Standards such as DICOM, IHE. Strong understanding of software systems classified as Medical Devices. Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards (FDA 21 CFR 820 QSR, ISO 13485). Platform Scalability & Modernization: Expertise in flexible architecture supporting hybrid cloud, containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes). Azure Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure services (Data Lake Storage, SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) and cloud cost management. Data Lake Architecture: Skilled in data ingestion, storage formats (Parquet, Delta Lake), and multi-zone design (raw, curated, analytics). Nice to Have: Strong SQL and database design/optimization skills. Hands-on experience with Qlik BI tools (Qlik Sense/QlikView) for data modeling, transformation, and dashboard/report development. Exposure to Agile methodology in software development environments. QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent. Strong background in software development with hands-on programming experience. Proven expertise in requirements engineering, product lifecycle management, and IT integration in regulated environments.
