Job Description

Purpose of the role- In Trade Finance & Services, product managers are expected to provide solutions to the customer facing teams in the ambit of regulations for enhancing business for the bank, they are also expected to prepare policies, process notes for smoother functioning of the product. Product Managers will own the product in entirety and shape business through s through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or system features to meet customer’s need. Policies, Processes & Procedures- Ownership of the Product:- To be completely responsible for managing end to end product function related to Trade Finance under FEMA/RBI Regulations. This includes import/export, capital account, BG, LCs, IFSC. Product manager is expected to own the product in entirety with respect to business development, risk management, product process maintenance & monetization, audits and providing insights to senior management Product innovation: - Conceptualize, plan, and execute roll out of new product variants, service to grow existing revenue stream. To provide product innovation, policies, and support structuring facilities to assist sales & coverage team to grow the Transactions’ flows Deal Structuring: - Engaging with clients along with Sales team and providing advisory on complex structures in compliance with the regulatory guidelines. Risk Management: - Provide guidance on policy/procedure, regulatory compliance, and operations/system-related issues and strengthen risk management. Monitor regulatory pendencies, liaise with regulators wherever required. Create, maintain & disseminate suitable business analytics & presentations Experience- Essential: Overall experience of 5-8 years of work experience in fintech/banking industry preferably handling Trade Product Manager role.
